Greenpeace and its allies including activists like you are asking Kimberly-Clark to:

tree and lake photo Alternatives already exist. In fact, ancient forest friendly tissue products are already being sold in stores across North America.

These products contain either recycled fibre or fibre from sustainably harvested forests or both. Tissue products containing high amounts of recycled and FSC-certified fibres are of comparable quality and price to virgin fibre products.

As the demand for ancient forest friendly tissue products increases, the availability of these products will also continue to expand. For example, Cascades, the fourth largest manufacturer of tissue products in North America, recently committed to making all their tissue products ancient forest friendly by 2007.
