Get Local! Join or form a Kleercut Group in your own community

Activists cheer the hand over of Exhibit A, a step further in stopping Kleenex and the destruction of Canada's forests
With your Action Pack in hand, you're ready to start kicking Kimberly-Clark's ass in your own community. Here's how to use kleercut.net to find other people to organize with:

  1. Visit the Kleercut Groups organizing centre to see if there's an e-group for your area. Each group is a localized email list for organizing Kleercut campaign events in your area. Kleercut Groups allows you to post messages, share files, use an online calendar, and more.

  2. If there's already a group in your area, sign up to it.

  3. If there isn't already a group in your area, email us and request that one be started. We'll set it up so you can start organizing with other people in your community. If you're in Canada, email canada@kleercut.net; if you're in the US, email usa@kleercut.net; and if you're anywhere else in the world email international@kleercut.net. You may find that there's already a group for your region, but you want one more specific to your town or city - no problem. For example, if you see a list set up for Alberta but want to organize specifically in Calgary, just email us and we'll have Kleercut Calgary up and running in no time.

  4. Start connecting with other local activists! Use your list to organize campaign meetings and events, and to share ideas. This is your place to organize locally - use it!

  5. Please be respectful of the other people on the list - only send emails relevant to the Kleercut campaign.

  6. Get inspired: Check out reports and photos from events and actions that other activists have organized.
