Newspaper ads demand leadership to protect the Boreal Forest

In a series of ads in major Canadian newspapers, Greenpeace and other conservation organizations called on provincial political leaders to take measures to protect the Boreal forest.

Ads targeting Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty ran in the Globe and Mail national newspaper and were supported by a number of Canadian artists, writers and scientists. A full page ad also ran in the province of Quebec's influential Le Devoir, highlghting the threats to government and political parties if they do not take Boreal forest conservation seriously.
